1. Business customers only

TIATool is sold to businesses, public bodies and self-employed professionals for use in their trade (business-to-business). By ordering you confirm that you act in that capacity and are authorised to bind the organisation you order for. Consumer protection rules for distance contracts therefore do not apply; the money-back promise in section 5 applies instead.

2. Plans and prices

• Monthly: €99.99 per seat per month. Yearly: €999.99 per seat per year.
• Team and Enterprise: on the terms of a written quote or agreement, which takes precedence over these terms where they differ.

Prices are in euro. There is no free tier and no trial. A seat is one named engineer on one PC. A virtual machine counts as that PC.

3. Payment, renewal and cancellation

Payment is handled by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in the billing portal; the subscription then ends at the end of the paid period and is not renewed. We announce price changes at least 30 days before they apply to your next renewal.

4. Delivery

The licence key is shown in your account right after payment. The software is downloaded from this website. A licence is activated online; yearly plans can also be activated with an offline licence file for air-gapped computers.

5. 14-day money-back

If TIATool is not right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of the first payment of a subscription and we refund that payment in full; the licence then ends. Apart from this and from cases where the law requires it, payments for periods that have started are not refunded.

6. Your responsibilities

• You need your own valid licences for Siemens TIA Portal, TIA Portal Openness and any other third-party software TIATool works with, and you comply with their terms. TIATool contains no Siemens software.
• TIATool lets an AI system of your choice read and change engineering projects. AI output can be wrong. Every change must be reviewed and tested by a qualified engineer before it is used on any machine, plant or safety function. You remain responsible for the engineering, commissioning and safety of your installations.
• You keep your own backups of projects and data in line with good engineering practice. The backups TIATool makes are an additional safeguard, not a replacement.

7. Services

We operate the licence server and this website with reasonable care but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The software keeps working offline for the grace period of your licence token; if the licence cannot be confirmed after that, the tools stop until it is, and no data is ever deleted.

8. Liability

Our total liability arising out of or in connection with a subscription is limited to the fees you paid for it in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost production, downtime, lost profit or lost data. These limits do not apply to liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or where the law does not allow them.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate a subscription for material breach that is not remedied within 14 days of written notice. We may suspend a licence that is used in breach of the EULA, for example on more machines than allowed.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Disputes are settled by Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Tallinn, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

11. Changes and contact
